Can't cope

I'm so fed up of feeling ill. I constantly need to sleep, I'm too hot, achy and dull pain. I just want to cry constantly. No one understands me. My mum just screams at me because I can't go into work because I can't physically move or just can't keep my eyes open. I really had enough and don't see thing getting better. I'm only in my 20s and I feel like an old person. I can't stand up for that long and just feel like I have the flu all the time Sad don't see the point in anything any more .

Hi Kittycat,

Hi Kittycat,

Sorry to hear you are in so much pain. Do you have a diagnosis for your pain and discomfort? Most of us on here have had times when we feel we've had enough and can't take anymore. Please hang in there, are you on medication that is making you so tired?

Hi kitty....

Since you posted under fibromyalgia, does that mean you received a diagnosis from your doctor?...or put the symptoms together yourself?

I would like to get to know you better, re what you and your doctor have worked through so far.
As Michelle mentioned above, any medications tried?

You found the right place for understanding people with chronic pain, and many with such fatigue, also.
You are not alone.

I have found that many..most..people in my life do not understand what I live, and it can be quite frustrating for them, also, and cause difficulty in relationships.
You are not alone in that either.

I found myself struggling with the chronic pain effects on my life.
I already had a bent toward depression and anxiety, but I sought out psychiatrist and therapist to help me cope.

The last therapist I saw specialized in depression with chronic pain.
She was the most helpful! Within a year my perspective and thinking...behaviors..changed.
I have never felt so content mentally and emotionally in my life!
It was best thing for me!

You may be interested in a post...The Blend. You can use search on this site, upper right on page.
It may be quite useful in helping with distractions from the pain.

Keep in touch!
